Imhof Switzerland 1960 World Timer 8 Days Desk Clock in Bronze with 24h Scales

Desk world timer clock designed by Arthur Imhof. Fabulous and highly attractive desk-table clock, created in Switzerland by the clocks makers house of Imhof, back in the 1960. This world timer clock is rare to see in this pristine condition. Has been crafted with modernist patterns in solid polished bronze. A great looking desk clock, in exceptional condition. Dial: Round silver dial with blue and golden mapamundi with view from the south pole and 24 times zones. Roman silver numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for world-timer, black hands, convex transparent crystal and inscribed Imhof Swiss. Movement: Manual winding, 8 days, 15 jewels, Lever escapement. Case Number: 1727846 Weight: 467.30 Grams, (1.03 Pounds). Measurements: Diameter of 108 mm and a height of 51.5 mm (4.25 x 2.03 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed, "Imhof SWISS 15 RUBIES 1727846". Imhof SA was founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1924 by Arthur Imhof. Known for the manufacture of elegant desk and table watches, the slogan Manufacture de Pendulettes d'Art et Réveils identifies it for the production of quality models, so much so that it is defined in the world of collecting as the Rolls Royce of watches. Desk clocks designed by Cartier, Tiffany and Boucheron has Imhof 8 days movements. Note: Warranty of 12 months on the movement. Collateral: Apparent never used and is accompanied by the original designer's presentation box. Condition: The overall condition of this clock is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no trace of wear to any parts. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
