About the Item
Unique size and great design, double Arts & Crafts inkwell stand.
This is the largest (and heaviest) antique inkstand that we ever came across. For it to be pure Arts and Crafts and with a mint condition and superb colors marble base simply made our day. The large and wonderfully designed brass ink holders stand out beautifully on top of the mint marble base. Apart from a few superficial scratches to one of the brass inkholders, this remarkable inkstand could not be in better condition. When you open the stylish lids the white porcelain inkwells are reveiled and even if you never use this stand, it is just a joy to look at. In trying to give you a better idea of its enormous size, in some photos we have placed a regular size pen. For the most stylish look and feel, we would advise to have one or two beautiful fountain pens on display. Whether you place this gem on a sidetable, on a credenza or on a large desk, this piece will always draw peoples' attention.
