About the Item
A most unusual figural pen nib wipe made from brass with a wonderful untouched antique patina.
In the from of a knight in armour, the back of the helmet retains the original felts used to remove excess ink from a dip pen's nib.
Highly collectable and in excellent condition dating to circa 1880, Victorian in era. Measures: 2 1/2" x 2" x 2 1/2" tall.
