Murano Glass Mushroom Ornament or Paperweight
About the Item
An unusual and very charming vintage blown glass ornamental mushroom, its transparent stem flecked with tiny air bubbles and topped with a shapely black and white speckled cap. Beautifully hand-crafted from Murano glass, this adorable little ornament is signed on the lower stem by the artist, the 20th century Italian master glassmaker F. Silviy. A perfect little work of sculpture in its own right, it would also make an ideal paperweight or unique gift.
