19th Century French Directoire Giltwood Frame

A 19th Century French Directoire style giltwood picture frame. Fine quality heavy molding with warm gilt finish. Very good condition with minor losses. Nice scale for use as a mirror frame. Circa 1820-1840.
Outside dimensions: 21.25"H x 25.25"W x 3.5"D
Inside dimensions: 11.75"W x 15.75"H where the painting will set. (39.5cm by 29.5cm)
Inside view dimensions are 14.5" by 10.75" (37cm by 27cm)
