Black 'Ventaglio' Coat Stand or Room Divider by Giovanni Pasotto for Tarzia

About the Item

The original intention of the designer was to use this as a sculptural coat hanger. But this item is just too beautiful and unique to be buried underneath clothing. It is the ideal unique item to decorate any kind of room and can be used as a stand-alone object or as a room divider. The ideal statement piece. The Ventaglio is in excellent and original condition. Variable width depending on opening. It has been finished in a satin black lacquer, which creates the ideal depth and definition. Designed by Giovanni Pasotto for Tarzia- Italy, circa 1970s. • Pair of Dordrecht Chairs by Wim Van Gelderen for Spectrum, the Netherlands 1950s
By 't Spectrum, Wim van Gelderen
    Located in Antwerp, BE
Dordrecht Chairs by Wim van Gelderen for 't Spectrum, the Netherlands. Naive, modernist, vintage armchairs in a light-colored oak. They pair beautifully with the "elephant grey" textured fabric. It's rare to find a pair of these Dutch modernist plywood chairs that were produced in the early 1950s. The design of these chairs is very elegant and does not show that they are a design of the 50s, since they look a lot more modern than they really are. The perfect neutral, yet sculptural chair for any kind of vintage, modernist of contemporary project. In excellent original condition. Newly upholstered by a professional craftsman in high-quality, textured velours fabric. Check out our Daddy Deco...
