Nice abstract plexiglass sculpture by Jan Verschoor (1943 -), Amstelveen Holland, 1970. This sculpture is an abstract composition of two birds. This early work by Verschoor was made circa 1970 and he only made a hand full of sculptures in plexiglass. Most of his works are made in fiberglass, bronze, stone.
Sculptor Jan Verschoor has made numerous monumental works of art commissioned by the government and for the business community. Many of his works have been given a place in museums and private collections. His work is regularly exhibited in museums and galleries at home and abroad. The oeuvre of the artist is extensive and varied. But every work bears the unmistakable stamp of the maker, the personal signature.
This sculpture comes with original photograph of the sculpture when it was just made in the time.
