Large Cattails Sculpture Attributed to Curtis Jere
About the Item
Very large at 37.5" tall, 9" deep and 12" wide. Consisting of multiple brutalist style welded sets of cattails inserted into a rock (assumed limestone). Much detail is present with dozens of cattails giving a kinetic mature to the sculpture as well audio properties. Identical cattails used in sculpture by C. Jere so this unsigned art is attributed. Can be table or floor mounted and would no doubt be acceptable to use outside. Beyond a few minor bends and patina, it is in delightful condition.
