Bertrand Créac'h is a french sculptor. He studied at l’Ecole Boulle in Paris and met the artists Étienne Martin, François Stahly and Michel Seuphor at the start of his career. " My work participates at the same time of the vegetable, the mineral, the fluids, the nature and its rhythms ", he says. In wood, stone or bronze, his sculptures are sensitive and sensory refuges, groupings of shapes and false escapes ticked or scratched, ruptures and embraces carved into the material. Créach strips away aesthetics and loosens knots to tighten ties. Concentration, asymmetries, balance, always the top in sight. Relentlessly his work is characterized by an increase vitality.
