Modernist Abstract Welded Steel Sculpture "Blue Angle" by Robert Brock. Intricately designed,,precision welded and painted heavy steel rods,Truely amazing up close and in person.
Brock was born in Tacoma, Ohio and was a graduate of the University of Dayton, Dayton Art Institute and Ohio University, where he received a master's degree. He majored in sculpture at the Art Institute, with a minor in painting. He majored in sculpture and minored in philosophy at the University of Dayton. His major was in sculpture and his minor was in art history at Ohio University.
He joined the Buffalo state faculty in 1962 and was chairman of his department from 1970 to 1973 and again from 1981 to 1985.
