Olga Milczynska Sea Anemone Small Sculpture by Nów Designed by Olga Milczynska Dimensions: D 5 x W 20 x H 30 cm Materials: glazed stoneware A graduate of the ceramics department of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Uniwersity of Fine Arts in Poznan. She gained practical knowledge in ceramics workshops in Great Britain, France, Denmark, and South Korea. A lecturer at the School of Form. Co-founder of the August Design Studio. In her works she deals with the topics of time and tradition. She is interested in traditional techniques and their impact on the modern human environment. She was a participant of many Polish and international exhibitions. Nów: We are artisans and promoters of handcrafted production. We come from different parts of Poland, we have different professional experiences. We draw from tradition, although we do not strictly adhere to artisanal rules. We choose the freedom to experiment - with form, material, and the production process. We spread knowledge about contemporary Polish crafts in the country and abroad. We represent the interests of craftsmen in contacts with public institutions and business. Together, we create the New Moon Association. New Craft - an organization of modern craftsmen. Originators of the New Moon Association. New Craft are Olga Milczynska and Malgorzata Herman from Projekt Pracownie.

    From simple beech rods that were patiently cut, sanded, arranged and lacquered, Pia Maria Raeder creates refined sculptures which evoke biomorphic forms.
