P1ME - Neoconcretist Sculpture
About the Item
The series PXME pulses with the vibrancy of neoconcretism.
A fiery red equilateral triangle rests atop a crisp white square base, their contrasting forms sparking visual tension. Powder-coated steel catches the light, imbuing the piece with depth and dimension.
Olavo Machado Neto, a contemporary Brazilian voice, channels the movement's core principles - geometric abstraction, viewer participation, and spatial exploration. The elemental shapes, potent in their simplicity, invite connection and contemplation. The negative space, as vital as the positive, whispers of infinite possibility.
Titled "P1ME," the work hints at the interconnectedness of all things, urging us to see the macrocosm mirrored in the microcosm. Bold, dynamic, and deeply evocative, this piece is a bold example and also an invitation to engage with the world anew.
