A grotto in miniature, Marvel is a hypnotic micro-universe in hand-held form. A rocket launcher case with a hand-hammered-and-polished aluminum interior creates a spatial distortion in which crystalline planets and hand-blown glass elements illuminated with LEDs appear larger than life. Despite its miniature size, Marvel invokes a space where one can get lost. When closed, tiny peepholes allow the viewer to peer into this complex, visually stimulating microworld.
