Taller Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo. "Careyes" Clay Table Sculpture
About the Item
An oval geometric clay table sculpture by TALLER Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo. This is an edition of 25 sets casted by Cerámica La Mejor, Mexico City, 2019.
The ceramic relief panel they created for this series reflects their focus on material and monastic, repetitive decoration. The piece is conceived to be used as a table sculpture made of clay, like the bricks of the author's most representative works.
TALLER DE ARQUITECTURA was established in 1991 in Mexico City by Mauricio Rocha. In 2012 he joined with Gabriela Carrillo to establish TALLER Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo. They work together to develop contemporary architecture sensitive to context and environment, combining local materials with state-of-the-art technology.
