Vintage Acrylic Clear Crystal Star
About the Item
This gorgeous hand-carved and polished crystal star was created by the American artist Mark Yurkiw for brochure photography. Today, it would lend itself well as a centerpiece on a dining table or a console table. The design is reminiscent of the lighting at The Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, New York. It was produced in New York City at Yurkiw's studio in the 90s. Yurkiw is a contemporary American artist, whose career spans over thirty years in producing 3D advertising art for publication in various leading magazines, book jackets, television, and film.
