Vintage Blue & Clear Lucite Racing Sailboat Sculpture by Wintrade, Beverly Hills
About the Item
This large solid lucite sailboat sculpture was made by Wintrade of Beverly Hills California in approximately 1980 in a Mid Century Modern style. The sculpture is done with clear lucite with a cobalt blue covering on the base, with aluminum brackets for the sculptured sails. There is etching on the base and also on the sails to mimmick the ribbing and grommets, and pivot from side to side on the brackets. There were a couple artists that did pieces for Wintrade, but this one does not appear to be signed other than the Wintrade sticker.
