19th Century Swiss Black Forest Carved and Stained Walnut Bear

About the Item

Very fine carving of a black forest bear walking on all fours paws. The life-like bear realistically carved and stained by a master craftsman. The eyes inset with black glass, or obsidian. Overall very good antique condition. Chip on rear right left foot. Crack and possible old repair on left front foot. Measures: 5 inches high 8.5 wide 3 deep.
