Antique naturalistic terracotta elephant group model Continental, early 20th century Dimensions: Height 49cm, width 54cm, depth 18cm This charming sculptural group, crafted from terracotta, depicts a mother elephant and her calf. They are crafted in a fine naturalistic design, with a brown patina giving the appearance of patinated bronze. The mother elephant is posed with her head and trunk reared up, and the calf facing the ground, which forms a rectangle base. The base is signed 'K.K' and 'EJM'.
