Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown white, olive green and gold flecks Italian art glass birds on branch sculpture. Documented to designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950s. The sculpture is published in his "Weil Ceramics and Glass" catalog catalog. The birds and base, the entire piece, is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table, or dresser. A must for the bird collector. Mid-century era. Measures: 9 1/2" long x 6 1/2" tall.
