Bronze Sculpture of a Conquered Bucking Horse

About the Item

This is a rare and very well done bronze sculpture depicting a cowboy who is standing in the soil and has finally conquered a bucking horse in a rodeo. The clothes of the bronze cowboy and the saddle back billet are painted. The mane and tail almost appear to be moving and you can see the strain of the horse muscles. The sculptor captured so well what was happening in the rodeo that it look like a picture taken. The sculpture is supported by a kite shaped wood base. In the asymmetric bronze base is inscribed CHD 12.
