Cenedese Murano 1961 Sommerso Red Gray Italian Art Glass Bird Sculptural Vase
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso red and Neodymium gray Italian art glass sculptural bird vase. Documented to designer Antonio da Ros, for Vetreria Gino Cenedese, circa 1961. Published (see last photo). Created with Neodymium "Alexandrite" glass, which changes color from daylight to indoor light, from gray with a hint of purple to green. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or console table. The piece is solid and very heavy. Mid-century era. Measures: 13 1/4" tall.
