Hand Carved Chalcedony Lizard Mineral Specimen

About the Item

This nicely proportioned, finely carved hardstone sculpture captures these reptiles’ enigmatic, curious presence. The milky blue translucence of the stone adds to the effect. Chalcedony is a microcrystalline form of silica, composed of quartz and morganite, both silica minerals. Please note, there are three small naturally occurring inclusions on the back.
