Lachaise Bee Figure Sculpture Alva Studioa
About the Item
This stylish bee figure sculpture is an authorized museum replica by Alva Studios and was produced in the late 1970s. The original by G. Lachaise is in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
There were not two options in the Museum store - a gold vs a silver colored reproduction - instead this one has most of the original gold color surface rubbed off revealing the steel beneath it - this is known to happen when the sculpture is routinely cleaned over time.
