About the Item
A wonderfully crafted and intricately detailed relatively large bronze wall relief plaque sculpture by American artist R. M. Evans. The work titled "Lone Buck" features a solitary deer with a mountainous landscape backdrop and a solo bird flying in the distant skyline. A rather strong and bold composition.
The work is signed, titled, dated (1973) and numbered (1/250 - the coveted first in the edition) by the artist.
The heavy bronze piece has a gorgeous patina. It has been attached to a wood backing for hanging.
Would be a great addition to any Mid-Century Modern art or nature collection or eye-catching stand-alone piece in about any setting.
