Art Deco Bas Relief Bronze with New York Skyline

About the Item

Beautifully sculpted and -- appropriately -- cast by the General Bronze Corporation to honor its retiring President in 1934, this handsome Art Deco panel depicts three workers pouring molten bronze into molds at its foundry. Note a series of street lamp bases, column capitals and monuments in the background, symbolizing the wide array of architectural bronzework produced by General Bronze over the years.
