Massive Antique Carved Hardwood Bust Of Shakespeare
About the Item
A Rare European Hardwood (Believed to be Elm) wall-mount Bust of the justly famous Playwright, Writer and Actor William Shakespeare (April 1564-April 1616). Unmistakeable with his pointed beard and piercing gaze, the Sculpture is powerfully carved and does superb Justice to the world renowned Artist. The Bust floats on a Wreath like leaf garland and wears a simple collared jacket with button closure.
Dimensions: 30" W, 15 1/2" x 35" H
Condition: The overall condition is very good with acceptable age-related wear including some stable age splits and checking with the Bust presenting in a spectacular and grand manner.
