Exquisite sculpture of the Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux "Neapolitan Fisherboy" (Pêcheur napolitain à la coquille), 1857. If you've been to the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, you would have seen the entire 3 foot high marble figure of the boy kneeling while listening to a shell.
The overall size is 15" high x 11" width x 7.75" diameter
The black revolving base is a near-cube 4.38 W x 4.19 D x 4.25 H.
