Unusual, Hand Carved Wooden Sculpture, Woman’s Head
About the Item
Very unusual piece! This wooden hand carved Woman's head was carved from one piece of hardwood, stained and lacquered. It has a very midcentury look. Underneath it is signed with a marker 'C.A.F. vd/ Valk 1995' but we are not sure if this was written by her maker. Althought it says 1995, we think it might be from circa 1960s and might come from an African or South American country. One thing that is certain is that this 'Woman' really get's a hold on you with her enchanting eyes….
