19th century Art Nouveau silvered bronze sculpture of female hen by A. Grevin & F. Beer. Women Dressed as a Hen, she has a basket of eggs. On circular base incised " A. Grevin et Beer" and "E. TASSEL fondeur Ed". circa 1880 This is a rare collaborative bronze by Alfred Grevin (1827-1892) and Frederic Beer (1845- 1912). Both working in Paris, during the Art Nouveau period.
