About the Item
Exceptionally well-made hand carved/turned sculpture of nude your female. Its made from either birch or maple and from one piece. The alluring female posses naturally and is resting on a delicately carved tree stump. This piece does not have any markings or signature. But it came from a Danish family who have had it in their possession since the 1940s. During WW2 the access to bronze, brass and copper were very limited so many sculptors turned to wood as their media. Measurements: H: 53 cm, W: 17/16 cm (top/base), Dept: 12 cm. Weight: 4 kg (approximately).
