About the Item
For your consideration is this original Stunning art deco dancer designed by Marcel Bouraine with the pseudonym of Derenne and signed accordingly. This piece is known Danse Païenne (Pagan Dance) and was made in the Max Le Verrier foundry. It is silvered metal on a fabulous piece of Belgian marble. She is beautifully modelled and in very good condition with some minor loss of silvering to the back of her shoulder.
