Art Nouveau Otto Petri Glazed Earthenware Sculpture of a Woman Carrying Baskets
About the Item
This glazed earthenware sculpture was done by the German sculptor, Otto Petri in the period Art Nouveau style. This sculpture is a very detailed depiction of a young woman with a flowing dress and hat, carrying two baskets, possibly to market. The sculpture is clearly signed "Petr" on the base in hand scripted letters.
