Expectacular Antique Library, Bookends, Throne, medieval, revival
Alabaster and marble bookends in the shape of monks sitting on a throne reading a book Medieval style figur of a monge carved on the albastro bench in Italian
they are beautiful. These pieces made in the old marble and alabaster studios-workshops of southern Europe (Italy and Spain) in the traditional style. Many of the alabaster workshops have succumbed to the passage of time, so it is a pleasure for me to rescue these precious figures .
