Cast resin Aphrodite Anadyomene sculpture issued by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MOMA) in New York, circa 1980s. #1546
This reproduction of the Aphrodite torso is manufactured by Alva Studios. This piece is based on the black basalt Roman copy that survives and was created after an original Greek sculpture of the goddess. Torso is made of black resin, mounted on a faux wood base that measues 4.75" x 4.75" x 4.75". The piece is marked "MOMA" on the base; overall dimensions: 21.5"H x 7"W x 6.5"D.
