"Dance and Music, " Gilded Bronze Door Pulls with Nude Female Figures, France

About the Item

Fabulous and rare, this pair of gilded bronze door pulls depict two joyous nude female figures, one a dancer and the other playing the tambourine. Although the sculptor is not known, these represent the best of high-style Art Deco in 1920s France. The relief is sharp and crisp, and the gilding gives a warm, golden glow. The pulls retain their original hardware for easy installation.
