Danish Blanc de Chine Mother & Child Figurine by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Grøndahl

About the Item

Despite being designed in 1913 this blanc de chine mother and child figurine by the Danish sculptor Kai Nielsen has and striking clean and modern appearance about it. Subtle Art Nouveau almost Art Deco in its organic lines and curvature. This one is design number 4029 and it was manufactured by Bing and Grøndahl in Denmark.
