About the Item

This a wonderful driftwood sculpture or assemblage by Marc Bourlier originally purchased at Galerie Beatrice Soulier in Paris when the gallery had their exhibition 'Small de Marc Bourlier'. I represents four figures each of them personalized by simple means but allowing the viewer to venture into a discovery of human expression. The sculpture is mounted on a black base and steel rod standing 28.5 inches tall. Signed and described by the artist on the backside. About Marc Bourlier: Marc Bourlier is a French Postwar & Contemporary sculptor who was born in 1947. Their work was featured in an exhibition at the Halle Saint Pierre. Marc Bourlier's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from $387 USD to $3,961 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2017 the record price for this artist at auction is $3,961 USD for Une nouvelle aventure, sold at Tessier & Sarrou in 2018.
