Early 20th Century Japanese Porcelain Incense Burner-Smoker Figurines

About the Item

Two Early 20th Century Japanese Porcelain Incense Burner/Smoker Figurines painted in gold. Each has design pattern on the costume he is wearing. The chief has a simple native design and stars incised on his blanket and a feather headdress and is smoking a ceremonial pipe. The Sultan has a paisley and circle incised design his robe with a crown atop his turban and is smoking a hookah pipe. These are really cool and have been in my family for several decades.
