About the Item
Unusual and fabulous is the only way to describe these European wall carvings of the "Four Seasons." Hanging from an intricately carved ribbon hanger with exquisite hand carved detail throughout and traces of white paint to highlight areas. These carvings would make a conversation piece in any room in your home. The spring season is represented by a mother bird feeding her young in the most exquisite detail. They are hand carved from the late 19th century, and each season is represented in details such as wheat sheaves for summer, the fruit of the harvest for fall, and seasonal greens of holly for winter. These photos do not do justice to the beauty of these Four Seasons' panels.
