Petite sculpture of the head of Minerva carved in white marble, on a parallelepiped base, 19th Century Greek. Minerva is the Roman goddess of poetry, medicine, commerce, weaving, the crafts, and wisdom. She is depicted here with a helmet adorned with a Pegasus on each side.
