The statue is raised on its original most elegant Vert de Patricia marble pedestal column with a fine octagonal base, mottled socle shape support below the beautiful baluster shaped fluted central support, and circular top with a lovely reeded border. The charming wonderfully executed white Carrara marble statue above is raised on a circular mottled base with a finely detailed ground like design. Above is a young boy draped in a richly sculpted flowing garment with a satchel over his shoulder. The young boy is riding a finely detailed goose with wonderful attention to detail throughout. The white Carrara marble statue above displays a wonderfully executed ground designed base with charming branches and leaves where the beautiful nude young Aphrodite is kneeling. She has a finely detailed flowing fabric draped over her leg and is clutching a bird at her chest protecting it from the serpent at her feet. She wears a richly sculpted floral wreath in her hair and displays exceptional attention to detail throughout.
