A whimsical modernist bronze sculpture titled "Le Grand Chapiteau (The Big Top)" from France. Marked FG100. Circa 1950s. Complete with small figures depicting classic circus characters such as trapeze artists, acrobats, a tightrope walker, harlequin clowns, a ringleader and horses. A nostalgic depiction of festivity and fun. Dimensions: 20"h x 11.25"dia. In very good vintage condition.
