Pair of 18th Century Italian Carved Polychrome and Gilt Cherub Sculptures
About the Item
Place this beautiful pair of antique carved figurines on a mantel or a console. Crafted in Italy, circa 1780, the tall sculptures depict two chubby cherubs standing on carved gilt bases decorated with acanthus leaves. Both hand carved sculptures have their original painted and polychrome finish embellished with gilt accents. The elegant figures are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and could also be converted into wonderful decorative table lamps.
