Pair of 19th Century Staffordshire Figures

About the Item

Pair of 19th century Staffordshire spill vases depicting Princess Louise and her husband, John Campbell, the 9th Duke of Argyll. Princess Louise was the sixth child of Queen Victoria and Price Albert. She was an accomplished artist, and sculpted the statue of her mother, Queen Victoria that still stands at Kensington Palace.
