Rare Antique Pre-Columbian Bronze Sculpture Worshiping Inti (God of Sun)

About the Item

This is a very rare and extremely unusual figurative solid bronze handcrafted sculpture. The figure is most likely Inca-Mayan and worshiping Inti, also called Apu-punchau,-in Inca religion the sun of God. The work is incredibly detailed, starting with the man’s feet and sandals and all the way to the top. The Sun shows in the centre representation of the heat, light and fire.
