Rare Lee Duran Modern Art Deco Siren Sculpture Chrome Goddess 1 of 5

About the Item

Stunning Lee Duran (1941-2014) aluminum and polished granite sculpture. This important work of art was part of Duran's Chrome Goddess Series Siren Sculptures. There are only five of this sculpture and another five of a larger sculpture ever made. This is a substantial sculpture weighing 40 lbs and made of 356 aluminum sitting on a polished granite base. There is a slight fracture at on the granite base in corner which we have photographed. Hard to see with naked eye unless you are focusing on base. Duran's take on the figurehead, mascot or hood ornament is magnificent with sleek lines throughout. Guaranteed to be a piece you will not be able to take your eyes off of.
