Large patinated bronze statuette with brown patina after the Soldier Bending His Bow, also called Ulysses Bending His Bow or Soldier Martyrisant Saint Sebastian realized in 1715 by Jacques Bousseau (1681-1740), sculptor of the kings of France and Spain. The sculpture depicts a nude man bending a bow against his knee. The original marble is housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, 19th century original cast. circa 1830 Dimensions: W 18.1 in - D 13.8in - H 35.8in. Dimensions: L 46cm, P 35cm, H 91cm.
