This bronze sculpture of two intertwined birds is from Surawongse, Thailand, and it was sand-cast and hand polished to achieve its amazing form and finish.
The pieces have incised foundry marks of 145/1000 Surawongse" and a box with four Thai symbols (see photographs), and it is mounted on a black-lacquered base.
Note: Surwangose is a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand that is renowned for bronze making.
