Two Orientalist Spelter Busts of Female Figures

About the Item

This busts in this pair of spelter sculptures take the form of two Orientalist female figures. The figures wear Orientalist clothing and are embellished with Orientalist-style jewelry about their necks and heads. The sculptures are delicately cast to produce works of impressive detail, as is evident in the hair and dress of each figure. The pieces are finished with a patina of warm red tones, especially evident on their faces.
