Tall White and Blue Lace Agate Geode Slice, All-Natural
About the Item
Showcasing the rare beauty of blue and white lace agate in a gorgeous tall format, this Agate Geode Slice is a natural artwork that will surely enhance your decor as a centerpiece, a large bookshelf accent, or a powerful tool in your healing arsenal as agate is said to promote energy balancing and act as a chakra cleanser.
The intricate patterns and delicate lines of the blue agate resemble delicate lacework. This fascinating formation occurred over millions of years, with hundreds of agate layers gradually forming from the outermost layer to the innermost core. These layers intercalate blue agate tones until revealing a magnificent crystal core at the center. (BTW, can you see the woman praying in the drawings?)
Another rare characteristic of this specimen is the perfection of the agate lines. Because of its rarity, we made sure to keep it 100% natural. This agate is undyed, untouched, and untreated.
With unparalleled beauty and such special characteristics, this rare Blue and White Lace Agate slice is sure to leave a lasting impression, even on avid collectors. Check out the photos to see more details, and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
You may be wondering, how were the blue lace layers formed?
It's truly amazing: agates typically form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt. Over time, these voids are filled with layers of water containing high concentrations of silica. The water slowly evaporates, leaving behind a layer of silica gelatin, followed by the formation of additional layers. This process is exceptionally slow, and each layer contains different impurities, resulting in the formation of bands with different colors. Isn't that fantastic?

As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.
